FOOD CITY - A WORKSHOP WITH CJ LIM

This workshop focused on food in relation to the city (food city). The assignment took its beginning in the tales of H. C. Andersen and in chapters from the book 'Food City' by our guest professor CJ Lim.
The result of the assignment is not quite architecture in its common sence, but more a discussion of way to deal with food in the city, using architectural elements and functions. It is an abstract way of approching a common problem, to start a discussion, and see the world with new eyes.

BYMORFOLOGI - FIRST EXHIBITION

EXHIBITION ATMOSPHERE

FOUR MODELS OF FOUR DIFFERENT SITES

DETAIL - THE MODEL OF MY GROUP

TWO CARDS - THE CARD OF MY OWN GROUP IS TO THE RIGHT

QUICK COMMENT ON THE ASSIGNMENT!!!!

The assignment called Bymorfologi is first of all a study on our overall
theme called anchoring.
It is about analyzing how the building and landscape is connected
with one another.
It is about understanding how diffenrent elements can connect and
create a wellthought and functionning connection between these
to elements; buildings and landscape.
It is about connection, aesthetics, the meeting between WALL,
TUNNEL and FLOOR.

We are to analyse a given site, such as Langelinieparken, here in
Aarhus, and try to solve the problemes that we find in our analysis,
which could be the metting between to buildings and the incloseness
that can be created on behalf of the topographi.

Archi Library - the inspiration

This blog is all about listing up the architects and their work, who tries to put their pencilcoloured fingers on our world.

I am myself a 2. year student at Aarhus School of Architecture, which gives me a great interest in this theme. And this blog is as much a way of you getting to know about architects as it is a study library for me.

But enough writing, it is picture time - ENJOY!!!
